It's a great event and I highly recommend signing up! This year, Dance Force Productions (Robin Carlson and Jerry Foote) have put together a Texas Collaborative Performance routine and would love to get us involved! Likely the performance will be on community night, which is the Thursday night. However, they think that if enough people are interested they might be able to get it to Saturday. So if we can all learn it, I'll let them know what would get the most of us on the floor! The dance is similar to Mama's Stew! Therefore, we will be working on that at the same time. That means that even if you can't make it to Lindy Fest, you will still be learning some great classic solo jazz! Cost will be $5 per class. Bring a water bottle and your dance shoes! Huzzah! ps; Torchy's Tacos on Mesa and Spicewood is our go-to hangout for pre-dance fun! Join around 7:00 if you'd like to join in! Also, post-dance fun is at Nosh and Bevy until around 11:00 if you would like to come late!
