Level 2 Weekly Classes Spring 26
Level 2
Level 2 is for the dancer who is comfortable with all the basic steps (6-count, 8-count and Charleston), and masters a number of basic variations within each type.
You therefore feel ready to work harder on your technique in order to improve your execution of basic material as well as new, fun moves. This means diving deeper into concepts like connection, tension, musicality and floor craft. All things necessary to truly advance your variation vocabulary.
On Level 2, you will also learn jazz steps and popular routines such as Shim Sham and/or the Tranky Doo, that will get you ready to start improvising during couples dancing.
After you have completed this level at least three semesters, you can advance to Level 3, not before you went through our Level Placement team. And remember - classes alone are not enough - regular social dancing helps you to improve.
