THE BAND: The Stomping Aces The Stomping Aces are an exciting jazz quintet from The Hague with a style rooted in 1940s and 1950s swing music. The band perform their own swinging arrangements of tunes from the Great American Songbook and by bandleaders such as Duke Ellington and Benny Goodman. With a frontline of vocals and trumpet backed by a stomping rhythm section, the band is certain to get you on the dance floor! THE WORKSHOP: 'Not so Pure Bal' Giorgia and Federico like multiple swing styles and they like even more to mix them in the same dance. In this taster they will share some ideas and some technique to help you transition between balboa charleston and lindy hop and keep the flow of your dance going. If you ever wanted to make your dancing more interesting and you like to push boundaries, this class is for you. Knowing the basics of balboa and have some experience in swing dancing is suggested to best experinece the class. THE LOCATION This trendy brewery sits right on the water and offers up locally made beers and fresh food. Best of all, it has a wooden floor just right for dancing!
