Air steps! We love them, and we want you to learn them safely so that you will also love them and not get injured.

SCHEDULE
12:00-14:00 Session 1
You will not go upside down in this class. Suitable for newbies and also for experienced folks who want to train their fundamentals.

Examples of tricks we might do:
1. Throwout with optional variations for the adventurous
2. The back-drop with optional basketball catch
3. Scorpion Kick

14:00-14:45 Break (snack and hydrate)

14:45-16:45 Session 2
Flyers will go upside down in this class.

Example air steps include:
1. Around the back
2. Left hook
3. Walk around the Clock
4. Down the back
5. Judo flip

About a week before the workshop, we will send out a form where you can look at and vote on the tricks that you want to learn.


PARTNERS
You will need to register with one or more partners. We will not be rotating partners in class, and we will also not be match making in class.
If you would like, you're welcome to come in a group of 3 or more. If you have one base and two fliers, that's awesome! If you have a little team of 4 who all like to fly and base, super cool! We don't mind what constellation you have as long as you have one flyer and one base as a minimum.
Seriously guys, it's so awkward for everyone if you come without at least one partner. Please do no make it awkward. Katie will not like you.


PHYSICAL PRE-REQUISITES
Everyone: Plank for 30 seconds, 30 squats
Fliers: 10 tuck jumps, 10 V-sits then hold for 10seconds, and comfortable with being upside down for Session 2
Bases: 30 second wide leg squat hold; lift your partner in your arms and walk around with them for 20 seconds
