Finland Hop is a special dance night presented by the Tokyo Swing Dance Society (TSDS), bringing the authentic Dixieland jazz spirit all the way from the far north of Finland to set Tokyo's night ablaze.

Just before the cherry blossom season begins, on the evening of March 19th—right on the threshold of spring—the legendary Helsinki-based band Acoustic Dixie Six (AD6) will take the stage with their classic acoustic setup. Their performance fuses the lively, joyful beats of New Orleans with Finland's signature clear and refreshing swing sound.

Adding to the magic is Yuka Deguchi, one of Japan's premier swing vocalists, whose brilliant and deeply emotional voice joins the band to create an utterly unique “Finland Hop.” It feels as though the endless daylight of Nordic white nights intertwines with the gentle, pre-bloom glow of Tokyo's approaching cherry blossoms.

Finland Hopとは、Tokyo Swing Dance Society (TSDS) が贈る、フィンランドの極北から届いた本格ディキシーランド・ジャズが、東京の夜を熱く揺らす特別な一夜。

桜シーズンの直前、春の訪れを目前にした3月19日の夜。ヘルシンキ生まれの伝説的バンド Acoustic Dixie Six (AD6) が、アコースティック編成で奏でるニューオーリンズの陽気なビートと、フィンランドならではのクリアで爽快なスウィングが融合。そこに日本のスウィングシーンを代表するヴォーカリスト 出口優日 の華麗で情感あふれる歌声が加わり、まるで北欧の白夜と東京の桜が咲き始める前の柔らかな灯りが交錯するような、唯一無二の「フィンランド・ホップ」が誕生。
