This all-star ensemble features Tokyo’s top-tier professional jazz musicians, including seasoned performers who have previously dazzled audiences at TSDS events. Leading the band is Makiko Tamura on clarinet, whose soul-stirring melodies have moved listeners to tears. A highly respected figure, she also hosts a monthly jam session every first Wednesday in Kagurazaka, earning rave reviews from swing dancers worldwide.

The event takes place at Akasaka B-flat, a legendary jazz club right in the heart of Tokyo. While the venue typically lacks a dance floor, we’re thrilled to announce a special swing dance floor will be set up just for this occasion—perfect for dancing the night away!
