Balboa Workshop & Social
This workshop is a Balboa Bootcamp designed to get you comfy in the posture and basic moves that make up Balboa so you can social dance it with ease. We will start with the absolute basics so it will be suitable even if you’ve never tried Balboa. Before you know it, we will be breezing through a handful of the most common Balboa moves and making sure it all feels comfy along the way, so everyone leaves the class feeling like a BALBOA HERO!
Sigga and Christine will be jumping into the partner rotation a lot, so you’ll get plenty of individual feedback during this workshop to iron out any technique issues that are holding you back and to make sure that everyone has something to work on. We hope that individual approach means dancers of all abilities will find this helpful, whether you’ve never tried Balboa before or you’ve been doing it for a few months.
Make it a full Balboa weekend by joining us at Balboa Brunch on Sunday 12th June, 12–3pm at Leith Depot – three hours of FREE social dancing and a friendly space to practise what you’ve learned.
